LAST 2 weeks in a NUTSHELL!...

We started the week with a WONDERFUL visit from Brad's mom! (Nana)..The kids had SUCH a blast with her and she spoiled them rotten!! :) Hope she comes back SOON! :)

BEACH WEEK/ 1 night..LOL in Ocean City, NJ...Long story short...Sam ended up in the ER on Sunday (the day after we got there) a.k.a FATHERS DAY....so we cut the whole week short to recoup...which turns out was the best idea since I followed and then McKayla...

Anyway..we made it to the beach once, and the boardwalk once...so here's what we got! :)

Bug's Surprise....

This Saturday Brad and I made plans to meet halfway near the VA/NC border to spend some family time together. Well, to be honest there was an ulterior motive to it as well...Brad's truck needed inspection and since he is working in VA, and the truck is still registered in NC (since we have no idea how long it will be, and if we will ultimately be moving there as well, or him moving back here) we thought we could "kill" 2 birds with 1 stone, and get the inspection done, AND surprise the kids with an overnight stay in an hotel with an indoor pool....with DADDY!!!!

Needless to say we left around 10am on Sat, met up with Daddy, had an interesting time finding the place Brad called to ensure they were open and DID inspections on a Sat (*shakes her head* long story..my dear dear husband.....lol) ..and went swimming.

In the end, everything worked out.....we had a GREAT time, and got some MUCH needed family snuggles in. Though it ended far too soon, and the kids DID NOT want to leave..... Neither did I or Brad.

Birthday Party Fun!

Happy Birthday Connor, and thank you for inviting us to your fun pool party.

After all Bug had been through (being sick) I was SO hesitant to let him go...however this was the one thing he looked forward to for the last 2 weeks and would talk about (and have me make up stories to before bed) that he had. So.......

He had a BLAST.

We only stayed SOME of the time and I only allowed him to swim in increments and in an hour and a half period.

He seemed satisfied with that...though he asked if he could go back tomorrow! :) LOL

Brad has been very sick the last 4 days or so, and today he felt a little better....so he bucked up, and joined us for the short visit. (plus I needed help with the kids...I was not about to handle both of them in the water with all the other kids around!) THANK YOU BRAD!! I know how terrible you felt and I appreciate that you came and helped! Of course he is in bed as I type....but still! :)

When I saw this video I was SHOCKED at how HUGE Bug's bites were....WHAT A PIG...I couldn't tell that he was scarfing it down like that....*blushes*...YES they NORMALLY ARE fed....*sigh
