Happy Thanksgiving 2007
Before we begin....

I want to give thanks for all the blessings we have recieved. We are so very lucky to have such great family and friends.

It has been a rough couple of months with the move, Brad's new job, getting settled, a few personal issues and just adjusting in general (especially to the weather).

But because of our family and friends they have made this time a little easier for us. So I am VERY THANKFUL for you.

Please take the time today to tell someone you love how much you appreciate them.....you can NEVER say it enough.

Now on to pictures from our turkey day.....

Our 18 pounder!

YUMMY!!! Sweet Potato Pie and Green bean casserole....

Turkey and biscuits anyone??

THIS is what my DH did while mom and I cooked, and prepared.....

And THIS is what Grandpa did....:)

Mashed Potato's anyone??

Grandma getting the platter ready.... (I love the look on her face! lol)

Grandpa doing the honors.....

Gravy? check...Broccoli? check.... tea? check.... sauce? check...

Almost ready to eat!

The table is set....let's eat~

My plate! And it was DIVINE!

Mmmmmm...pumpkin Pies....yummy~ (yes I made these)

See what I helped make?

Hungry Maaaaaaaaaan...(before the attack)

Attacked.....she woke up just in time to steal daddy's piece of pie~ LOL

"look at this mess"
All in all it was a lovely thanksgiving!! We did miss our family back in Hawaii, and hopefully next year they can plan on joining us!!!!
Hope you had a wonderful day as well. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Thanksgiving!

Look at our new walkway!! They did this last week, and it looks SOOO nice. We actually have a driveway and walk now! YAY!!!!

We also have put up a new fence int he backyard, so the kids have a place to play. I'll most some pic's of that soon!

THIS is what my daughters bed looks like in the morning. She collects her stuff after I leave and has to sleep with it. So I leave her with just a pillow, blanket, and her minnie mouse...and it never fails that 15 others items have found their way to the bed. How does this child sleep??

Take care all.....and happy holidays!!

The 3 little Elves

(thanks April for the link:)..love yours!)

The drama queen....The Bug.....and The Monster!!

Many hugs!
Yes, these are my kids.

Some misc photo's and video's for family we miss.

*sigh* do I need to explain?

Bug's peanutbutter and celery face...

My snuggle bugs!

Drama Queen trying to do her alphabet..

Gobble..gobble....see my turkey hat I made at school?

My 2 fav men!

Bug and his cousin... oooohhh scary.

We went to a museum in Raleigh called "Marbles; Museum for kids" It is an interactive fun place the kids learn while they play...

Here are a few shots of the fun we had....

Beeep..beeep...ooops was that your toe mommy?"

Aaaaarr....ahoy matey.

Bubbles anyone?
You are supposed to THROW a penny in...not TAKE them out..

This was her favorite part.....

she wouldnt leave the baby alone..

And her 2nd favorite part??? Is this MY child or what?!? Can I fit?

The whole reason we went ...

was to see "Super Why"

...a reading show character from PBS...

and alpha pig...

and princess pesto..

Well, as you can see....Bug is missing from ALL of these shots. He wouldn't go within 50 feet of them. He said they were "toooo big mommy".

Drama Queen?

Well she tripped them a couple of times...she just wouldnt leave them alone!

So all in all at least ONE of them enjoyed meeting them. (Matthew was "too big to meet them Auntie Kristi"...accompanied by arms crossed and a few eye rolls. :)

All in all, I think all 3 enjoyed the inside...where the fun was.

Th-th-th-th-that's all folks...

And as Arnold used to say...

"I'll be back."

Look who came ALL the way from Virginia with Grandma and Grandpa for his cousin birthday!

Go Top Chef Daddy....

Sausage anyone?

Grandma and Grandpa getting ready for the birthday brunch!

And the results....3 different kinds of baked egg "omlets", fresh salsa, bacon, sausage, and fried potatoes...to start..

And fresh watermelon, muffins, cut up fruit, oranges, and cinnamon raisin bread...

Here's the cake....(no, I didnt make it..ar.ar)

Cheeeeeeese and noooodles Mommy!

And yogurt,,

Would you like a pretend bite? Its sooooo yummy...

*sigh* My bug.....gets in trouble, and ends up with his nose on the wall. He is NOT happy I am taking a picture.
All in all it was a FABULOUS day. I really miss her baby side...but seeing this new person learn things about herself and the world around her....
I wouldn't change it for the world.
I truly am the luckiest mom in the world! (even though I had to add that last picture :) )
