I have AWESOME news to share with everyone....but 1st I have to thank EVERYONE who was kind enough to send an email to Katie and Randy offering hope, love, and most of all support.

I have had the luck of having a wonderful person....Lauren P....post their story on a website we weren't even aware of....called the Road Back Foundation...and the response has been incredible. From letters of support...to offering new treatment options....to just allowing them to relate to others that are on the same path. THANK you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to do that.

NOW FOR THE GREAT NEWS!!!....

RANDY IS GOING TO DUKE!!~

A HUGE THANK YOU TO HILLARY CLINTON AND DR. SULLIVAN!!!

RANDY HAS BEEN ACCEPTED INTO A DUKE UNIVERSITY TREATMENT STUDY!!!

My cousin Tera had faxed, and called her office about getting involved.....and BLESS HER HEART....SHE DID!!!!!!!!!
Hillary Clinton contacted the insurance company to try and change their minds about accepting Randy, for studies on the disease he is fighting.
Thank you again Hillary.
and as for Dr. Sullivan (a Dr. from DUKE, who has been seeing Randy) he had also spoke to the insurance company pleading with them to change their minds!!
AND ALL THEIR WORK PAID OFF!!!

Randy and Katie (and Alec) now have to travel to Duke for the studies/treatment and will be there for approx 6 months. Please CONTINUE to lift them up in your daily thoughts and prayers. We pray that one of their "studies" will reveal a cure for this disease. Or at least offer him some relief.

So again, all my great friends, BBC friends, Road back foundations friends, and family.....thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and please continue to send them message of hope and support.
