HAS SHE CHANGED IN 3 MONTHS...AS MUCH AS I HAVE????








*WoW*.....amazing how something soooooo little...can bring such change! Our family is the greatest....I remember before she was born I could not BEGIN to imagine sharing the kind of love I had for Sammy with anyone else....and to be honest I wondered how in the world I could. Could my heart possibly grow ANY more? I seriously had doubted it. Would I play favorites? Would Sammy always come first since he was my firstborn? How was I going to love both kids the same? Well......it didn't take long for THOSE questions to b answered ** I am still waiting on a few others...like how to get her to sleep throught the night?..LOL** They are BOTH great children! My heart MUST have grown since I love her just as much as I love Sammy. I discovered it is in a different way....but it is JUST AS STRONG nevertheless. I just hope I remember each day, how blessed I am to have the 2 of them. The rough days are rough....but those good days..........they take the cake!

Is the weekend over already?? geesh! It must have flew by since Daddy was actually home for 2 days in a row. He normally works four 10 hour days...and then does overtime on fri and sat another 20 hrs. So it was REALLY a treat! Sammy was happy to have his dad home to play with....and play they did! We had a busy weekend...Sat morn we went grocery shopping at the commisary...and then I watched the kids while Brad went and played poker with his buddies from work...(bad night...long story...to make it short..the guys were babies, and Brad just left...and left his $50 there *urgh*) I picked him up at 10:30 and we actually got to spend a little quality time together (McKayla ACTUALLY slept)...And then on sunday we woke up and went to the zoo....till about 12:30..then it was naptime for the kids...so hubby and i curled up and watched "Fever Pitch" with Drew Barrymore....it was much cuter than I thought it was going to be. Even Brad enjoyed it. Then it was time to get ready for "Chinese New Year Dinner"...Popo booked reservations at "Hong Kong on the Harbour" at the Aloha Tower Marketplace ($$$).....we went to dinner and fed the lion and the dragon. Sammy fed it as well though he was literally shaking in his shoes * I kid you not!* We had to take Kayla out of the restraunt though cause the firecrackers were MUCh to loud~.....so we ate..and by the time that was over it was almost 9 p.m. so we had to get home to get the kids in bed. *whew* Now it's Monday..time to start the week over again! We did take a few pics over the weekend....want to share them so here they are:

Hip, hip hooray! The Steeler's have made it to the Super bowl! Brad was beside himself with joy~ But the shocker was...that he went to work and RECORDED the game. Granted he left early to come home and watch...but the pure fact that he even went in....and when the STEELERS were playing..is amazing! So...Feb 4......SUPERBOWL XXXX "Seahawks vs. Steelers....fight for the championship! woot woot. Anyway..enough about that....the week has flown by....it has been stressful though, since the company Brad is currently working for "Kailua Construction" is having funding problems at the time and they are laying off a bunch of people. Brad was fortunate enough to keep his job, but we don't know for how long. He is talking about going back to the Union. We'll see. McKayla is really smiling now. She is so cute when she first wakes up. All she wants to do is coo, and smile. Sammy is as funny as ever...the other day he kicked over his milk (yes, I wrote kicked over..the monkey) and then as I am standing there staring at him with the evil eye..totally silent....he looks at me for about 5 sec..then tentitively smiles and says "you so funny mommy....that's great"....*sigh* Laugh or cry? which one!? heheheh Oh....and before I forget to mention..Mom is in Africa for 10 days on a mission with her church. How cool is that? Well, we pray for her safety and the safety of everyone she is with. I hope they touch a lot of people. so......better get some housework done! Ya'all take care now ya' hear!

Is is thursday already??? Wow...this week flew by! Must be because we had a holiday Monday and Popo and Papa were home and volunteered to help with the grandkids..so Monday was like a vacation to me. These pictures were taken this past Sunday (Jan 15) ...Kayla and her *yes I know I am the princess* look...and Daddy and sammy in their jerseys...cheering on the Steeler's! I LOVE those pic's! Anyway today we decided to go to the playground this morning...and play for about an hour..then we came home and walked to McDonalds. (well first to Subway for mommy, and then there for bug)..then we walked all the way back...and now both the kids are sleeping (and at the same time *its a miracle*) They should be up soon though~ This weekend we (Brad and I) may go to the Hula Bowl (football game)...and then on Sunday..it is all about the Steelers and the Broncos for the superbowl position spot! *oh I hope they make it for Brad* Mom is leaving tomorrow for Japan (Okinawa) for a retreat (mission) with the church! I pray she has a safe trip, but I know she is in the Lord's hands! Not much else going on! kayla's getting so big, and she is such a great baby (except at night when it comes time to go to sleep)....but hopefully we can adjust to that! So...I guess until next time........TTFN!

Wow! What a weekend! First off the good news is the Steelers won the last 2 playoff games and only have 1 more to go to be in the superbowl! yeah!!! It was a close game against the Colts today, but they pulled it off! Second the kids had their doctors appt, and everything was great from that visit. Sammy is up to 34 lbs (perfect for his age), and had 3 shots *ouch* Mommy wanted to cry right along with him! He hollered and hollered! And I had to pin him down *bad mommy*! :( Anyway..the funny thing was he was singing.."where oh where is my shot?" before that...of course having no idea WHAT a shot was. He calmed down after about 3 min and a promised trip to McDonalds!...Then came Mckayla....she screamed and screamed..bu then stopped after 30 sec. *Chicken Mommy that I am * i had the nurse hold her for them! She had 3 as well. She weighed in at 11lbs 2 oz, and was 24 inches long! Not bad for 2 months eh? Well I better run, gotta get lunch together, and take care of the family !

Where is the time going??? I can't believe McKayla has hit her 2 month mark already!! Seems like yesterday i was still pregnant...and then at the same time I can't imagine not having her around! Sammy is doing great as well! he is a wonderful big brother, and loves playing with her! Especially now that she is responding to him by smiling! He really gets a kick out of it! And he loves to lay next to her and mimic everything she does *like he is trying to be a baby again! lol* But thankfully he hasn't reverted to acting like one to get attention! He loves to help get diapers, and sometimes he will throw them away as well. Sammy finally got this movie he has been wanting for a while. Grandpa found it and sent it in the mail! I have been looking for it for about 2 mos and they advertise it on disney in the morning about 25 times. So he saw the package in the mail, and went balistic....we ran up stairs (well took the elevator really)and he pryed at the package until he gave up, handed it to me and said "open it mommy" He saw "Little Einsteins huge adventure" and the butterflies and he went nuts! he kept chanting "watch einsteins movie mommy?" over and over.....so we popped it in and he watched it (I think without blinking LOL) He loves it! Well this blog will be short since my little Miss calls to be fed! (oh yeah I have more to say about goinbg to see Jon lovitz (comedian) and Kayla taking the bottle (breastmilk of course)) Till next time!

Happy New Year!!! 2006!! Aloha 2005! Wow! What a busy year it was!! But definetely a year filled with many, many blessings! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with my family of 4! I knew I would love it, but I had NO idea just how much! :) Anyway...I had a new years resolution but was told it didnt count...that i wasn't "giving anything up"....ha ha.....I thought it was just about life improvment>!>?!?! Who said it was about sacrifice?! ha ha...Anyway..it WAS to take better care of myself as far as appearance. (i.e....manicure, pedicure, haircuts....shall i go on?!?!) Dear husband almost laughed his head off!...well I THOUGHT he would appreciate having a "as sexy as she can get" wife?!?!? Well...had to throw that one out the window. Another one was to take better care of the house...and you know what?? i am sticking to that! I am making dinner every night by 7..and then cleaning up after, and then picking up the house so that we wake up to a nice place..*hard to do with a 3 year old*.....Brad has given up drinking.....I am praying for him that he sticks to it!....but this will be the 4th or 5th year....ha ha...*dont we all have one of those*....He isnt that bad anyway...I am just a tad anal. *as I have been reminded by many*....Anyway....life is good. The kids are great..McKayla is smiling away, and getting such a personality..and Sammy asks to "Sammy hold the baby" at least 5 or 6 times a day...so I am looking forward to when they can play! Well gotta clean up the breakfast mess (George Forman Griddle *christmas present*) and the pancakes Sammy and I wolfed down! Ya'all take care now ya hear! May we continue to be blessed in 2006!
