Happy 5th Birthday and Happy Veterans Day!

First off a HUGE thank you to our veterans, past, present, and future....words do not express the gratitude I feel for the HUGE sacrifices you and your families make. From the tip of my toes to the top of my head....

THANKS!

(Bug drew this yesterday after we talked about the meaning of this special day)

In other FANTASTIC NEWS.....

Guess who is 5 today!?!?!?!?!

Wow, can you believe it?

5!!

I SAID 5 people!!

lol....

KK had a great day. We didn't do much and kept it low key this year since we were getting a little out of hand with them. (I mean a bouncer and cotton candy machine? chuck e cheeses?)... spending $300 on a party (x 2) each year is a tad excessive. Dontcha think?

She didnt even notice that there wasn't all the hoopla and had a blast anyway...

We were really hoping to do dinner with my brother Josh and his family, but they were busy. Maybe another time...

A run down of her day!~...........

Here is a card from Popo and Papa....she LOVED it

inside card...

Back...

The spoiled child also got a DSI from Popo and Papa..

A DSI accessory purse....AND 2 DSI games (not shown..littlest pet shop and carnival)

Here she is about to open the gift from grandma!!~

Ohhh ohhh ohhh what is it??

It's like Grandma's (she shouts over and over)

"I want it up in my room with a mirror like grandmas ok mom?"..

KK chose to go to IHOP for her birthday dinner...and since that experience went so poorly we decided to head straight home and stop at McD's to get a sundae...she wanted us to sing to her again! :)

The cool flower candle that Grandma brought her back from China....

Daddy took Sam to the store and gave him $15 (that he earned) and let HIM pick out what he bought his sister...after MUCH looking around, he decided THIS was it....and BOY DID SHE LOVE IT!!!!! :) Great job Bug~

Here they are decorating cupcakes for KK's class....
